David Keating is one of Ireland's top golf coaches. As a Fellow PGA Professional, David has over 30 years of experience helping golfers of all abilities to reach their potential. David was crowned "PGA 5 Star Professional of The Year" in 2018 and uses Trackman, Capto's 3D Putting system & Hackmotion. David also has won the prestigious Callaway Clubfitter of the year award.
I have been giving golf lessons since 1984, after I qualified as a PGA Pro European Tour Coach, and I have helped countless golfers in the years since. My students have ranged from absolute beginners to former European Tour players such as Peter Lawrie, with whom I was head coach for several years. This included the period in which he won the Spanish Open (Open de Espinal) in 2008.
2017 Irish PGA Champion Tim Rice has represented Ireland at all levels, went on a golf scholarship to the USA and had multiple wins on the PGA Europro Tour. Tim’s lifelong quest has been to make the golf ball behave itself. He’s studied under some of the game’s finest teachers, from Bob Torrance to Jimmy Ballard (coach to short-game genius Seve Ballesteros). Brian McCormack is a highly qualified golf professional based at Spawell Golf Academy in Dublin, Ireland. He has been coaching golf for over 25 years and has helped many golfers improve their skills and reach their full potential on the course.
Brian’s coaching philosophy is based on creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment, where golfers can develop their skills at their own pace. He provides individualised instruction tailored to each golfer’s needs and goals, focusing on all aspects of the game including swing mechanics, short game, course management, and mental skills.
Brian is a certified golf instructor and has trained with some of the most respected coaches in the world. He is also a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Coach, which allows him to analyse golfers’ swings using advanced technology and provide customised fitness programs to help them improve their game.
As a golf coach with extensive experience competing at every level of the game and thousands of hours of teaching experience, I have the ability to help students overcome any issue they may be facing on the course.
I believe that every golfer is unique and therefore, I don’t teach a specific method, instead I focus on teaching the golfer. My approach is to ensure that everything from a chip shot to a driver shot should always relate back to helping the student achieve their desired impact conditions.
I am constantly seeking new and innovative ways to improve my coaching methods and the drills I use with my students are among the most advanced in the world, designed to accelerate the change as quickly as possible.
